Freeware Game RacingDie V1.0 Official Release
The 5thware.de freeware game RacingDie for Symbian S60 5th Edition Smartphones from Nokia (5800 XpressMusic, 5230 XpressMusic, 5530 XpressMusic, N97, N97 mini, X6) is now released in version 1.0, the initial general release.
This release relates to the official release of Python for S60 program support by Nokia for these phones, which should make installation easy, and efficient for many upcoming programs that will certainly become available on the WEB based on this nice programming language.

For earlier users of the 0.97 pre-release, it may be noted that the functionality of the game is unchanged, as it has been functionally well proven. New with version 1.0 is the support for the Nokia Python for S60 Version 2.0 runtime library and installation procedure.
Python for Symbian S60 Released by Nokia
Nokia has just now released the Software Development Kit of the official release of Python for S60 (pyS60) version 2.0.
With this release, and the associated installation support of Nokia, Python based programs can now be released to all users, without the installation problems that have been a big burden in the past.
We will shortly update our RacingDie game and release it as version 1.0 to general usage. Please stay tuned.
Freeware: RacingDie Game New Version Released
In the SOFTWARE section, we have released a new preview version (v0.97) of the free Symbian S60 5th Edition game “RacingDie”.
The new version adds a new level called “Snake” with the usual two versions “training” and “challenge”.
Also, the new version is based on the updated PYTHON pyS60 runtime library v1.97. As in earlier versions, this runtime library is bundled together with the game into a single installation file, for convenient handling.

Short note on the pyS60 sis file creation tool: The available version, derived from the original pyS60 1.9.5 EnsymbleGUI tool is confirmed to work also well with pyS60 v1.97.
